sadly, no I'm in Ojo Caliente NM -- we're still in throes of doing the 100s of things to make our home here -- today was all day enrolling in health care coverage. In between weeding and irrigating and overseeing by phone an HVAC project at the Santa Fe Friends Meeting House. No rest for the wicked, miss you all immensely. Like they say in baseball, "next year!" Abrazos Fuertes all around.

Beautiful place to walk. Even more beautiful reason to walk. C'mon Alvin...we sure could use some rain.

Another wonderful post. Thank you for evoking the energy of the walk so beautifully. If I wasn't already planning to do it next year this post would have convinced me.

The Navajo invocation quoted here has held me in a spiritual embrace ever since I first read it in a Tony Hillerman novel. He also introduced me to Hoʻzhoʻ - pursuing balance and harmony. What a beautiful essay about the Border Walk, for the souls of those who departed here. In Beauty May I Walk.
