Welcome to the first week of June! We're settling into 100-plus temperature days here in Tucson and summer has begun in earnest. Hope you're staying cool wherever you are as we enter the summer months.

Last Friday night, Todd did a great Q&A with legendary journalist Amy Goodman of Democracy Now! at the Loft theater in Tucson. Goodman was in town to promote the new documentary Steal This Story, Please! about her pioneering work as a fearless independent journalist for the last three decades at Democracy Now! The documentary was riveting and inspiring, and we highly recommend it. It's showing nationally and you can find dates and locations here. We loaded Goodman up with Border Chronicle swag while she was in Tucson and she couldn't have been more gracious with her time. Her pup Zazu was so chill and amazing, too!
